Description:

The Hybrid Stopwatch and Timer app is a straightforward and reliable tool for Android that allows you to accurately measure the time in various situations, such as sports, cooking, games, and education.

In stopwatch or chronometer mode, you can start and stop the stopwatch by pressing the central button on the screen. The elapsed time is displayed both digitally at the top and analogically, resembling an old school stopwatch. To record a lap, simply press the left button, which adds a lap hand to the analog view. The right button resets the stopwatch. Conveniently, the buttons are positioned for easy one-handed use.

The app also features a Laps List. You can access it through the dropdown menu at the top or by sliding your finger to the left. The lap list allows you to choose between seeing lap times or total times. It further provides options to save the Lap List to an SD card, share it on social media platforms, or send it via email.

In countdown timer mode, setting the timer is fast and simple. You can drag the second and minute hands to adjust the time or use the traditional input method by pressing the left button. The right button resets the timer, while a single tap will restore the previously used time and a long press will reset it to zero. Additionally, you can personalize the alarm that sounds when the time is up by choosing vibration, selecting a custom sound, and setting alarm durations ranging from 2 seconds to 30 minutes. The mode also includes a circular arc feature that visually displays the remaining time.

Users can access countdown timer presets through the dropdown menu or by sliding their finger to the left. This allows for quick creation and editing of frequently used timers.

The Stopwatch and Timer app can be controlled using the volume up and down keys, offering added convenience. This option can be found in the preferences screen.

The design of the app aims to provide a realistic experience, mimicking the look and feel of a physical stopwatch and timer. There are 12 themes available, including clean Holo Android designs and classic retro styles.
